The authors suggested that urea cycle hyperreactivity and excessive polyamine generation in psoriatic keratinocytes promoted self-RNA sensation and highlighted protein phosphatase 6 deregulation in keratinocytes as a pivotal event that amplified the inflammatory circuits in psoriasis.
