    Genome-Wide Association Study in Alopecia Areata Implicates Both Innate and Adaptive Immunity
    Researchers have defined the genetic underpinnings of Alopecia Areata (AA), placing it within the context of shared pathways among autoimmune diseases, and implicating a novel disease mechanism, the upregulation of ULBP ligands, in triggering autoimmunity. [Nature]

    An Early T Cell Lineage Commitment Checkpoint Dependent on the Transcription Factor Bcl11b
    Researchers found that Bcl11b is necessary for T lineage commitment in mice and is specifically required both to repress natural killer cell-associated genes and to down-regulate a battery of stem cell or progenitor cell genes at the pivotal stage of commitment. [Science] [Science]

    T Cells Expressing the Transcription Factor PLZF Regulate the Development of Memory-Like CD8+ T Cells

    Vitamins C and E for Prevention of Pre-Eclampsia in Women with Type I Diabetes: A Randomised Placebo-Controlled Trial
