    Using dominant-negative mutants for the seven type I receptors, researchers demonstrated that only ALK1 and ALK2 mutants effectively inhibit bone morphogenetic protein (BMP)9-induced osteogenic differentiation in vitro and ectopic ossification in mesenchymal stem cell implantation assays.     A Novel Vascularized Patch Enhances Cell Survival and Modifies Ventricular Remodeling in a Rat Myocardial Infarction Model
