    Inhibition of miR-222-3p Activity Promoted Osteogenic Differentiation of hBMSCs by Regulating Smad5-RUNX2 Signal Axis
    Researchers identified that miR-222-3p decreased during osteogenic differentiation of human mesenchymal stem cells (hBMSCs) using quantitative real-time reverse transcription PCR.     Microbubble-Mediated Ultrasound Promotes Accumulation of Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cell to the Prostate for Treating Chronic Bacterial Prostatitis in Rats

    Overexpression of Protein Kinase C ε Improves Retention and Survival of Transplanted Mesenchymal Stem Cells in Rat Acute Myocardial Infarction
    Investigators assessed the effects of protein kinase C ε (PKCε) for improving stem cell therapy for acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Primary mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) were harvested from rat bone marrow. PKCε-overexpressed MSCs and control MSCs were transplanted into infarct border zones in a rat AMI model.     Mesenchymal Stem Cells Alleviate LPS-Induced Acute Lung Injury in Mice by MiR-142a-5p-Controlled Pulmonary Endothelial Cell Autophagy
    The authors found that mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) transplantation significantly reduced the severity of lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced acute lung injury in mice. MSCs increased autophagy of pulmonary endothelial cells (PECs) to promote PEC survival. [Cell Physiol Biochem] Full Article
