The authors described a genome-wide transcriptome analysis of human benign prostatic basal and luminal epithelial populations using deep RNA sequencing. Researchers used high throughput microscopy and quantitative image analysis to evaluate effects of selected endocrine disruptors on androgen receptor (AR) levels in multiple breast and prostate cancer cell lines.
