Caspase-4/11 is Critical for Angiogenesis by Repressing Notch1 Signaling via Inhibiting γ-Secretase Activity

In vivo, investigators studied the role of Caspase-11 in several angiogenesis mouse models using Caspase-11 wild-type and knockout mice. In vitro, scientists detected the effects of Caspase-4 on endothelial functions and Notch signaling by depleting or overexpressing Caspase-4 in HUVECs.
