Exocrine Pancreas Regeneration Modifies Original Pancreas to Alleviate Diabetes in Mouse Models

The authors showed that pancreas-derived mesenchymal stem cells were capable of regenerating exocrine pancreas when implanted into the kidney capsule of mice with streptozotocin–induced diabetes.
