Activation of SIRT1 Promotes Membrane Resealing via Cortactin

Investigators explored the effects of resveratrol on membrane resealing within C2C12 cells via the activation of SIRT1. They performed membrane repair assays using C2C12 myoblasts, myotubes, and single fiber myotubes from mice to explore its capabilites as treatment for muscular dystrophies.
