CCR3 Blockage Elicits Polyploidization Associated with the Signatures of Epithelial-Mesenchymal Transition in Carcinoma Cell Lines

Researchers explored the blockage of chemokine receptor CCR3 in carcinoma cell lines and found that inhibition of CCR3 induced the formation of polyploid giant cells and stabilization of β-catenin via the PI3K/Akt/GSK-3β signaling pathway.
