Thioridazine Combined with Carboplatin Results in Synergistic Inhibition of Triple Negative Breast Cancer by Targeting Cancer Stem Cells

Metastatic triple negative breast cancer cells, 4T1 cells, and tumor-bearing mice were treated with hioridazine (THZ) and carboplatin (CBP) as monotherapy or combination therapy.THZ demonstrated the capability of destroying breast cancer stem cells and this effect was amplified when combined with CBP treatment.
