Syncytiotrophoblast-derived extracellular vesicles (STBEVs) were collected by perfusion of placentas from women with normal pregnancies (NP) or preeclampsia (PE). Mesenteric arteries from pregnant rats were incubated overnight with NP or PE STBEVs, and vascular function was assessed by wire myography.
