The authors explain the application of stem cells, especially iPSCs and mesenchymal stem cells, in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases with a focus on cellular and molecular mechanisms and then discuss the advantages, disadvantages, and perspectives of using this technology in the treatment of these diseases.
