Fibrillin-1 Regulates Endothelial Sprouting during Angiogenesis

The authors revealed that fibrillin-1 was critical for angiogenesis which was compromised by a typical Marfan mutation. In the mouse retina vascularization model, fibrillin-1 was present in the extracellular matrix at the angiogenic front.
