Pulmonary hypertension (PH) animal models were generated by treating mice/rats with chronic hypoxia for four weeks. SMYD2-vTg mice or wild-type rats and mice treated with LLY-507 were used to investigate the function of suppressor of variegation, enhancer of zeste, trithorax and myeloid Nervy DEAF-1 domain-containing protein 2 (SMYD2) on PH development in vivo.
