Scientists unveiled that up-regulated SIRT7 promoted mitochondrial biogenesis to render the adaptive resistance to MAPK inhibition in melanoma. They reported elevated SIRT7 expression in melanoma cells subjected to BRAF or MEK inhibitors in vitro.
