Patients with prostate cancer who express PDIA2 high in particular have a bad prognosis in terms of progression-free survival. In addition, the upregulation of PDIA2 expression in prostate cancer patients was accompanied by higher Gleason scores, advanced tumor staging, lymph node metastasis, and elevated PSA levels.
