Investigators demonstrated that global lactylation was significantly elevated in glioma stem cells (GSCs) compared to differentiated glioma cells. PTBP1, a central regulator of RNA processing, was hyperlactylated in GSCs, and SIRT1 induced PTBP1 delactylation.
