Selenoprotein O Promotes Melanoma Metastasis and Regulates Mitochondrial Complex II Activity

Investigators revealed that selenoprotein O (SELENOO) promoted cancer metastasis and identified substrates of SELENOO in mammalian mitochondria. In patients with melanoma, high SELENOO expression was correlated with metastasis and poor overall survival.
