Scientists established a stepwise system to reconstruct a development-related imprinting network, in which diploid ESCs were derived by fusing between parthenogenetic- and androgenetic-haploid ESCs (haESCs) with different differentially methylated regions (DMR) deletions, followed by tetraploid complementation to produce all-haESC fetuses.
