Human pulmonary artery specimens and primary vascular cells, smooth muscle cell (SMC)-specific ASH2L-deficient mice, rats with SMC-specific ASH2L overexpression, mass spectrometry, immunoprecipitation, and chromatin immunoprecipitation were used to define the role of ASH2L in pulmonary hypertension.
