Hippocampal Output Suppresses Orbitofrontal Cortex Schema Cell Formation

Researchers tested between a serial model and a parallel model by asking how schema correlated in rat orbitofrontal cortex would be affected by inactivating the output of the hippocampus, after learning and during transfer across problems.
