Investigators demonstrated that nanostraw-assisted injection enhances the photothermal therapy efficacy of gold shell-isolated nanoparticles compared to the conventional incubation method, as evaluated in human breast cancer cell lines: adenocarcinoma cells and glandular carcinoma cells.
