CD318 Expression Defines a Novel Subset of Human CD8 Regulatory T Cells

Investigators examined the development, phenotype, and suppressive functions of CD318+ CD8 T cells. They discovered that CD8 T cells in peripheral blood mononuclear cells expresse CD318 after activation, and that the expression levels were higher than in CD4 T cells.
