[Frontiers in Immunology] Scientists investigated the effects of ionizing radiation on cancer-associated fibroblast (CAF)-mediated regulation of dendritic cells (DCs). CAFs were obtained from freshly operated lung cancer tissues, while DCs were procured from peripheral blood of healthy donors.
