Investigators immunophenotyped blood samples of Parkinson’s disease (PD) patients for the presence of myeloid derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) and discovered that DAT+/TH+ monocytic MDSCs, but not granulocytic MDSCs were increased, suggesting a targeted immune response to PD.
