PLK1 Inhibition Promotes Apoptosis and DNA Damage in Glioma Stem Cells by Regulating the Nuclear Translocation of YBX1

0
Researchers identified that polo-like kinase 1 (PLK1) inhibition induced apoptosis and DNA damage of glioma stem cells. They also delineated the possible underlying molecular mechanisms: PLK1 interacts with YBX1 and directly phosphorylated serine 174 and serine 176 of YBX1.
