Dioscin Prevents DSS-Induced Colitis in Mice with Enhancing Intestinal Barrier Function and Reducing Colon Inflammation

The authors explored the protective effect and preliminary mechanism of Dioscin on dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced colitis in mice and showed that Dioscin reduced DSS-induced disease activity index increase, colon length shortening and colon pathological damage.
