Intrinsic Cardiac Adrenergic Cells Contribute to LPS-Induced Myocardial Dysfunction

Researchers showed that norepinephrine secretion from intrinsic cardiac adrenergic cells was increased through activation of Toll-like receptor 4 to aggravate myocardial TNF-α production and dysfunction by lipopolysaccharide (LPS).
