Force Generation Machinery Is Exploited by Cancer Cells Promoting Tumor Progression via ECM Remodeling and Immunosuppression

Researchers found that in addition to increased cell motility, cancer cells exploited the elevated actomyosin force generation to remodel ECM and to deplete important co-stimulatory receptors on antigen presenting cells, facilitating tumor progression.
