The Complement C3-Complement Factor D-C3a Receptor Signaling Axis Regulates Cardiac Remodeling in Right Ventricular Failure

0
Scientists shared that the right ventricle (RV) differs from the left ventricle in many ways, including its structure, function, their influences in heart failure, and cellular properties including their cardiomyocytes. They found that the right ventricle predominantly expresses alternative complement pathway-related genes, including Cfd and C3aR1, which was found to affect RV dysfunction and fibrosis.
