The phenotype and osteogenic differentiation potential of ovine amniotic fluid mesenchymal stromal cells (oAFMSCs) were analyzed in relation to in vitro expansion that was carried out for 20 consecutive passages. The authors investigated the effects of fibromodulin (FMOD) on angiogenesis, which is an important event in wound healing as well as embryonic development and tumorigenesis.
