Intramyocardial Injected Human Umbilical Cord-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells (HucMSCs) Contribute to the Recovery of Cardiac Function and the Migration of CD4+ T cells into the Infarcted Heart via CCL5/CCR5 Signaling

Investigators showed that HucMSCs contributed to cardiac functional recovery and attenuated cardiac remodeling post myocardial infarction. Intramyocardial injection of HucMSCs upregulated the CD4+FoxP3+ Tregs and contributed to the migration of CD4+ T cells into the injured heart via CCL5/CCR5 pathway.

Uptake of Antiepileptic Drugs in Forskolin-Induced Differentiated BeWo Cells: Alteration of Gabapentin Transport

Investigators suggested that drug transport in BeWo cells can be altered before and after differentiation, and that the altered gabapentin uptake could be mediated by the intracellular amino acid status.

Human Umbilical Cord Mesenchymal Stem Cell-Derived Treatment of Severe Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension

A comparative analysis of single-cell RNA sequencing data collected from three HUCMSCs and two human umbilical vein endothelial cell controls identified eight common cell clusters, all of which indicated regenerative potential specific for HUCMSCs.
