Human Amniotic Fluid Mesenchymal Stem Cells Attenuate Pancreatic Cancer Cell Proliferation and Tumor Growth in an Orthotopic Xenograft Mouse Model

Investigators demonstrated that human amniotic fluid mesenchymal stem cells strongly inhibit pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma cell proliferation, tumor growth and invasion, possibly by altering cell cycle arrest and matrix metallopeptidase 7 signaling-triggered epithelial-mesenchymal transition.
