GDF-15 Prevents Lipopolysaccharide-Mediated Acute Lung Injury via Upregulating SIRT1

The authors found that growth differentiation factor-15 (GDF-15) was upregulated upon LPS stimulation in murine lungs and human alveolar epithelial cells.
