Scientists report an organoid culture system that generated complex skin from human pluripotent stem cells. They used stepwise modulation of the transforming growth factor β and fibroblast growth factor signaling pathways to co-induce cranial epithelial cells and neural crest cells within a spherical cell aggregate. BIF-1 Inhibits Both Mitochondrial and Glycolytic ATP Production: Its Downregulation Promotes Melanoma Growth

Investigators report that BAX-interacting protein 1 (BIF-1) was significantly downregulated in both primary and metastatic melanomas, and that patients with high levels of BIF-1 expression exhibited a better overall survival. Antitumor Effect of Cell Therapy with Mesenchymal Stem Cells on Murine Melanoma B16-F10

Dual Inhibition of MAPK and JAK2/STAT3 Pathways is Critical for the Treatment of BRAF Mutant Melanoma
