    KRAS(G12D) Drives Lepidic Adenocarcinoma through Stem-Cell Reprogramming

    Scientists demonstrated that expression of KRAS(G12D) in differentiated alveolar epithelial type I (AT1) cells reprogrammed them slowly and asynchronously back into AT2 stem cells that go on to generate indolent tumors.

    To target the cell surface glucose-regulated protein 78 (GRP78), CAR-T cells based on its binding peptide were generated. In vitro two glioblastoma cell lines and glioma stem cells were used to confirm the localization of cell surface GRP78 and the cytotoxicity of the CAR-T cells.
