Extensive Hair Shaft Growth after Mouse Whisker Follicle Isolation, Cryopreservation and Transplantation in Nude Mice
Researchers demonstrated that cryopreserved mouse whisker hair follicles maintain their hair growth potential. DMSO better cryopreserved mouse whisker follicles compared to glycerol. Investigators used overexpression and knocking down lentivirus to clarify the influence of histone deacetylase (HDAC)5 and HDAC6 in melanoma development.
