Expansion of Primitive Human Hematopoietic Stem Cells by Culture in a Zwitterionic Hydrogel

miR17~92 Restrains Pro-Apoptotic BIM to Ensure Survival of Hematopoietic Stem and Progenitor Cells

The authors generated miR17~92^fl/fl; RosaCreERT2 mice for inducible deletion of miR17~92 in hematopoietic cells. Bone marrow reconstitution experiments revealed that miR17~92-deleted cells were not capable to contribute to mature hematopoietic lineages, which was due to defects in hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells. Enrichment of Hematopoietic Stem/Progenitor Cells in the Zebrafish Kidney

Scientists showed the enrichment of zebrafish HSCs by a combination of two HSC-related transgenes, gata2a:GFP and runx1:mCherry.
