Generation of V α13/β21⁺T Cell Specific Target CML Cells by TCR Gene Transfer

Two recombinant plasmids, T cell receptor (TCR) Vα13-IRES-Vβ21 and TCR Vα18-IRES-Vβ21, were successfully transferred into T cells, and the TCR gene-modified T cells acquired chronic myeloid leukemia (CML)-specific cytotoxicity with the best cytotoxic effects for HLA-A11⁺ K562 cells observed for the TCR Vα13/Vβ21 gene redirected T cells. Maintenance of the EBV-Specific CD8⁺ TCRαβ Repertoire in Immunosuppressed Lung Transplant Recipients

Effect of Growth Hormone and IgG Aggregates on Dendritic Cells Activation and T-Cells Polarization

Maturation of human monocyte-derived dendritic cells (moDC) upon exposure to native biological products or aggregates was evaluated in vitro. The authors showed that human growth hormone aggregates induced an increased expression of moDC co-stimulation markers, and augmented levels of IL-6, IL-8, IL-12p40, CCL2, CCL3, CCL4 and CXCL10. Increased Autophagy in CD4⁺ T Cells of Rheumatoid Arthritis Patients Results in T-Cell Hyperactivation and Apoptosis Resistance

Researchers investigated whether autophagy, is dysregulated in CD4⁺ T cells of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients, resulting in disturbed T-cell homeostasis. They demonstrated that the rate of autophagy is significantly increased in CD4⁺ T cells from RA patients, and that increased autophagy is also a feature of in vitro activated CD4⁺ T cells. B Cells of Multiple Sclerosis Patients Induce Autoreactive Proinflammatory T Cell Responses

B cell antigen presentation and costimulation in multiple sclerosis (MS) were studied. Peripheral blood B cells of MS patients showed increased expression of costimulatory CD86 and CD80 molecules compared with healthy controls. [Clin Immunol] Abstract

CD4⁺Foxp3⁻IL-10⁺ Tr1 Cells Promote Relapse of Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma by Enhancing the Survival of Malignant B Cells and Suppressing Antitumor T Cell Immunity
