    TOP STORY

JARID2 Coordinates with the NuRD Complex to Facilitate Breast Tumorigenesis through Response to Adipocyte-Derived Leptin

Scientists investigated the role of Jumonji and the AT-rich interaction domain-containing 2 (JARID2), a JmjC family protein, in breast cancer, as well as its latent association with obesity.

A Mitochondrial EglN1-AMPKα Axis Drives Breast Cancer Progression by Enhancing Metabolic Adaptation to Hypoxic Stress

Researchers found that the prolyl hydroxylase EglN1 accumulated on mitochondria under hypoxia. EglN1 substrate-binding region in the β2β3 loop was responsible for its mitochondrial translocation and contributed to breast tumor growth.

Deubiquitylase YOD1 Regulates CDK1 Stability and Drives Triple-Negative Breast Cancer Tumorigenesis

The authors highlighted that YOD1 functioned as an oncogene in TNBC via binding to CDK1 and mediated its stability and oncogenic activity.

ERCC6L Facilitates the Onset of Mammary Neoplasia and Promotes the High Malignance of Breast Cancer by Accelerating the Cell Cycle

Investigators found that ERCC Exception Repair 6 Like (ERCC6L) was highly expressed in breast cancer, especially in TNBC, which was closely related to poor outcomes of patients.

Fibrin Stiffness Regulates Phenotypic Plasticity of Metastatic Breast Cancer Cells

Scientists cultured circulating tumor cell-like DU4475 TNBC cells in mechanically tunable 3D fibrin hydrogel scaffolds. Mechanically tunable fibrin gels revealed specific matrix-based regulation of TNBC cell phenotype.

    Abstract

Cantharidin Induces Apoptosis of Human Triple Negative Breast Cancer Cells through Mir-607-Mediated Downregulation of EGFR

Researchers studied the therapeutic potential of cantharidin for TNBC treatment by targeting epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), and expound its novel regulator miR-607.

    Abstract

Matrine Exerts an Anti-Tumor Effect via Regulating HN1 in Triple Breast Cancer Both In Vitro and In Vivo

Researchers investigated the anti-tumor effect of matrine on the proliferation and apoptosis of TNBC cells based on HN1 regulation in vitro and in vivo.
