Acute Liver Steatosis Translationally Controls the Epigenetic Regulator MIER1 to Promote Liver Regeneration in a Study with Male Mice

Physiologically, liver acute lipid accumulation induced the phosphorylation of eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2, which consequently attenuated Mier1 translation. Mesoderm induction early response 1 (MIER1) downregulation then promoted cell cycle gene expression and regeneration through chromatin remodeling.

O2 Variant Chip to Simulate Site-Specific Skeletogenesis from Hypoxic Bone Marrow

Scientists cultured bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells in a 3D chip and implanted them into rabbit defect models of low-oxygen cartilage and high-oxygen calvaria bone in order to simulate site-specific skeletogenesis from hypoxic bone marrow.

Potent Antitumor Activity of Ensartinib in MET Exon 14 Skipping-Mutated Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Molecular simulation was conducted to evaluate ensartinib c-MET interaction, and cell lines, patient-derived organoids, and xenograft models were used to test the effectiveness of ensartinib.

Generation of Hypothalamic Neural Stem Cell-Like Cells In Vitro from Human Pluripotent Stem Cells

Scientists differentiated retina and anterior neural fold homeobox(RAX)::VENUS knockin hESCs into hypothalamic organoids and sorted RAX+ cells from mature organoids. The isolated RAX+ cells formed neurospheres and exhibited self-renewal and multipotency.

Generation of Functional Thymic Organoids From Human Pluripotent Stem Cells

Researchers showed the generation of thymic epithelial cells in vitro in isogenic stem cell-derived thymic organoids, consisting of thymic epithelial progenitors, hematopoietic progenitor cells, and mesenchymal cells, differentiated from the same hPSC line.
