    Abstract

PGC-1α Regulates Airway Epithelial Barrier Dysfunction Induced by House Dust Mite

BEAS-2B cells were exposed to house dust mite and the expressions of PGC-1α and E-cadherin were examined by immunoblotting.

Olodaterol Exerts Anti-Inflammatory Effects on COPD Airway Epithelial Cells

Human bronchial epithelial brushing from patients with and without COPD were cultured into air–liquid interface cultures and treated with or without olodaterol and respiratory syncytial virus infection to examine the effect on markers of inflammation including interleukin-8 and mucus secretion.

ZNF674-AS1 Antagonizes miR-423-3p to Induce G0/G1 Cell Cycle Arrest in Non-small Cell Lung Cancer Cells

Researchers investigated the expression of ZNF674-AS1 in 83 pairs of NSCLC specimens and adjacent noncancerous lung tissues. The clinical significance of ZNF674-AS1 in NSCLC was analyzed.

Pentraxin 3 Acts as a Functional Effector of Akt/NF-κB Signaling to Modulate the Progression and Cisplatin-Resistance in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

The biological roles of pentraxin 3 in NSCLC progression and NSCLC cell resistance to cisplatin were evaluated using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, cell count kit-8, colony formation assay, flow cytometry, as well as xenograft tumor assay.

    Abstract

CircVAPA Exerts Oncogenic Property in Non‐Small Cell Lung Cancer by the miR‐876‐5p/WNT5A Axis

RT‐qPCR was used to measure the expression of genes. Actinomycin D and RNase R were employed to examine the stability of circVAPA. CCK‐8, EdU, Transwell, sphere formation assay, and western blot analysis were conducted to examine the changes of NSCLC cells in response to circVAPA knockdown.
