Lymphocyte-Derived Microparticles Induce Apoptosis of Airway Epithelial Cells through Activation of p38 MAPK and Production of Arachidonic Acid
Scientists used bronchial and lung tissue cultures to confirm the pro-apoptotic effects of lymphocyte-derived microparticles (LMPs). Antitumor Activity of a Polysaccharide from Longan Seed on Lung Cancer Cell Line A549 In Vitro and In Vivo

Stat3 Inhibits Beclin 1 Expression through Recruitment of HDAC3 in Nonsmall Cell Lung Cancer Cells
Researchers demonstrated that Beclin 1 is a direct transcriptional target of signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (Stat3) in lung cancer cells.
