Dual Disruption of Aldehyde Dehydrogenases 1 and 3 Promotes Functional Changes in the Glutathione Redox System and Enhances Chemosensitivity in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

TGFβ Mediated LINC00273 Upregulation Sponges mir200a-3p and Promotes Invasion and Metastasis by Activating ZEB1

Scientists indicated that transforming growth factor β (TGFβ) exerted metastasis by inducing zinc finger E-box binding homeobox 1 (ZEB1) and a long noncoding RNA, LINC00273, expressions in A549 cells. SOX2-Induced Upregulation of lncRNA LINC01561 Promotes Non-Small Cell Lung Carcinoma Progression by Sponging miR-760 to Modulate SHCBP1 Expression

Researchers provided evidence that LINC01561 expressions were distinctly upregulated in NSCLC and cell lines. Combining bioinformatics assays and mechanism experiments, they demonstrated that LINC01561 was activated by SOX2 in NSCLC. [J Cell Physiol] Abstract

Tumor Cell-Derived ANGPTL2 Establishes a Preference for Glycolytic Metabolism in Lung Cancer Cells

The authors report that a highly metastatic lung cancer cell subline expressing abundant angiopoietin-like protein 2 (ANGPTL2) showed upregulated expression of the glucose transporter GLUT3 as well as enhanced glycolytic metabolism relative to a less metastatic parental line. [Cancer Sci] Abstract

FAM83D Promotes Epithelial-Mesenchymal Transition, Invasion and Cisplatin Resistance through Regulating the AKT/mTOR Pathway in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer
