Tumor-Induced Double Positive T Cells Display Distinct Lineage Commitment Mechanisms and Functions

Investigators showed double positive T cells in murine and human tumors as a heterogenous population originating from single positive T cells which re-expressed the opposite co-receptor and acquired features of the opposite cell type’s phenotype and function following T cell receptor stimulation.
