Mitochondrial Damage-Associated Molecular Patterns Trigger Arginase-Dependent Lymphocyte Immunoregulation

Scientists described the lymphocyte response to damage-associated molecular patterns, including those of mitochondrial origin (mitoDAMPs). Using primary cells from mice and human donors, they demonstrated that NK cells and T cells adopted regulatory phenotypes and functions in response to mitoDAMPs.
