Researchers explored whether or not caffeine’s function was related to glucose-regulated protein 78 (GRP78). Acute liver injury model was established by lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-treated L02 cells and in vivo administration of LPS/D-galactosamine in mice, then caffeine was pre-treated in L02 cells in mice.
