Researchers investigated the mechanistic role of cytokine-induced SH2 protein (CISH) in regulating human T cell effector function in solid tumors and demonstrated that CRISPR/Cas9 disruption of CISH enhanced tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte neoantigen recognition and response to checkpoint blockade.
