Inhibition of phosphodiesterase 4D and the elevation of cAMP levels blocked mTORC1 signaling via Raptor phosphorylation. Pancreatic cancer exhibits an upregulation of phosphodiesterase 4D expression, and high levels predict the poor overall survival of patients with pancreatic cancer.
