Hepatic hsa-miR-21-5p expression was evaluated in two cohorts of patients with biopsy-proven non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) or HCC . Serum/liver metabolomic profiles were correlated with hsa-miR-21-5p in NAFLD obese patients.
